Hard drive on new build
Hello,
I just put together my new computer today consisting of a asus m2n-e motherboard, amd 6000+, 2 gig of g.skill ram, and a ocz 700w power supply, and i pulled a hard drive from my old computer with xp installed on it already, when i booted it for the first time it was all good and i was able to go into the bios and everything is being read and recognized as it should, but windows will not boot, and it just restarts and restarts and doesnt go anywhere. do I need to boot from the xp cd and then reinstall windows? will it let me with the same key that i had before or will i have to get a new one? Any tips or concerns would be great Alix |
