notebook dead
friend's notebook worked fine until attempt to power up this AM---
he gets only the green "power on" light but nothing else--black screen and no sound from hard drive---same scenario whether on battery or ac power. Computer= gateway P11-366 notebook. any thoughts? |

Shot in the dark, but this happened to me...
Remove the battery completely, then see if it will power up with AC cord. We had several NEC's at work that powered on fine when the battery was pulled. HTH |
