Raid error when opening certain program

I recently got 2 new hdd to set up raid and have been fairly pleased with the drives. The Vista experience rating was 5.9 (the highest possible for now) and have worked great despite them being a pain in the neck to set up. Ok, here's what's happening:

When I load Vista there are no problems.
All programs work fine except for one.
When I open Live Messenger I get the same error:
Raid Access Error on...

Is this bad? I haven't had any problems with the drives other than this? Is this another Vista Issue?

ps: I am using NVidia raid controller set up in raid 0. I have another disc that I back up data onto, but not through raid.

I'd say your array is corrupt or one of the drives is defective.

Opened quicktime and it does the same thing except that it gives me an error on the other drive. Sata 2.1 instead of Sata 2.0.

This is the first time I have used raid. Are there any programs that are useful in checking raid drives?

I know this is not helpful, but I don't recommend the use of RAID 0 at all. The minimal speed increases are not worth the hassles.
