Computer doesnt remember settings
MY PC has just started doing this really annoying thing. Every time I start it up or reboot the pc it tells me that a new CPU is installed and I have to enter set up. Any idea what might be causing this?. The only change I made to the PC is I recently hooked up the the 1394 wire and the FRONT USB header to the board and the problem started right after that. For obvious reasons I wanna keep the front access plugs on my case and was wondering how I could correct this problem. Right now I am at a loss for what the problem is. Any ideas sure would be appreciated.

Sounds like the motherboard battery is dying. You should be able to find a replacement anywhere that sells watch-type batteries.

Most likely the battery. I had the same problem recently and the system clock was not up to date.
