Hard Drive cooling with cold cathodes, Does it work?
I have 5 hard drives in a computer, and I'm trying to add some cooling. They drives are getting a little hot, according to the S.M.A.R.T. system. So are there small fans that can connect to the hard drives? Or also, I was told about Cold Cathodes. Are those sufficient? Just wanted to know some basics. Do these cool anything, or are just for show? Thanks.

I would just add fans where you can and make sure you current set up is working to it's potential. Cold cathodes aren't cooling devices they are lights.
