Mid Tower or Full Tower?
ASUS Maximus Formula
Ballistix Tracer 240-pin DIMM DDR2 PC2-8500 5-5-5-15 NVIDIA GeForce 8800? (G92) INTEL Core 2 Quad Core Q6600 Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme (May Be) Zalman CNPS-9700LED CPU FAN === Should I get a Mid Tower or Full Tower? I was planning to get a Mid Tower, but I want to know how much better (in term of cooling) would a Full Tower offer (compare to a mid tower)? |

I can't give you "how much" in actual degrees difference, but as you already suspect, it is noticeable. The other advantage is that you can generally get more into a full tower with a lot more ease of use.

I say go with midtower unless you plan on putting a whole bunch of optical drives.
The midtower is sufficient if you keep your wires neatly for airflow and so long that you have a couple of fans then you should be set. |

I would say get a midtower, neaten up your cables and have a couple fans and you will be fine.

I have a mid tower, with EVERYTHING you see down below, and my ambient temp rests are 50 C. Got 4 fans though. 1 blowing in from the front, and 2 exhaust in the back and on the case door, and one exhaust on the PCI slot. Not loud either. All MASSCOOL brands.
