I am planning to get a new PC. What kind of HD should I get? SATA or IDE?

But there are many benefits of SATA over IDE. The most obvious the cords they use. |

SATA. The cables are a lot more neat and easier to work with, now they are a lot more common and easier to find so I think the technology is here to stay for a while.
