I didn't see any post on this anywhere. I've got a second xbox 360 hd dvd add on drive and I connected it to my Vista Ultimate x64 machine. Drivers all installed great and Vista sees it just fine. But I noticed I don't seem to have any software that will playback my HD DVDs. Does anyone have any suggestions on what software I could use? Preferably something free?
Also, anyone ever pulled one of these drives apart? Thanks, Wayne |

I don't think there is any free software for playing HD DVD's or BD's. PowerDVD Ultra seems to be the best out there right now and it is buggy. I use PDVD OEM on one PC and the retail version on another. The price is around $100, but can be had for less if you do some searching.
If you want to see what the drive looks like taken apart, it's been done so google it. |
