Laptop DVD-Drive not working.
My HP Pavilion dv2000 laptop's DVD drive suddenly stopped being detected by windows. After doing some searching around as why this would happen I found a thread that said that it could have actually been itunes editing registry files which could cause this to happen. A script was posted (http://www.aumha.org/downloads/cdgone.zip to be exact) which I ran to fix the problem. I restarted the computer and much to my surprise the dvd drive was actually now appearing under my computer. However this joy was short lived because now the drive is still not reading anything I put into it. I'm really not sure where to go from this point but any help would be greatly appreciated.
