No video, Possible graphics card problem?

Hi,

Recently turned on Pc and found that it isnt working

Specs; Q6660, p5k-e Wifi Edition Motherboard, 2gb Crucial @ 1066mhz, 750W Corsair Psu, Fatality X-fi Soundcard, and x1950 Pro graphics card.

When I turn on the pc, I cant see anything. The screen does not even power up.

Leads me to believe, it is my graphics card. However, is it possible that it could be my ram? Could you suggest a solution as well, I was going to upgrade my graphics card, but I do not want to spend too much over the x1950 Pro price range.

Thanks to anyone who can help me

Yes it could be the ram, or actually several other components, like the power supply, or the motherboard. This is where you kind of need some spare components to swap out and test the system with so you can narrow it down the the faulty component.

Is there any beeping or fan noise? HD noise? If there is nothing, then look at the ram. If there is something, then look at the vid card. I would start by taking out 1 stick of ram and trying each one seperately.
