partition managing

a friend needs a freeware program to manage his partitions, as he needs to resize a partition.

Any freeware suggested? or could it be done without freeware.

Thanks.

or could it be done without freeware. -> Partition Magic is the most popular software....

Which ever application you use-> BACKUP the important data before proceeding.

Can also create multi partitions durning a fresh install.

Here's one I really like, PartedMagic:

http://partedmagic.com/wiki/PartedMagic.php

It's a free linux livecd that's built around the free partition manger, GParted which is a free clone of Partition Magic.
