Computer telling me I only have 2GB
My mother board is:
ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard Model #: M2N-SLI Deluxe Item #: N82E16813131013 And my ram is: Crucial Ballistix Tracer 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model BL2KIT25664AR804 Model #: BL2KIT25664AR804 Item #: N82E16820148180 I don't know if im just missing something. |

Where are you seeing the 2GB? In the BIOS or through Windows? Which version of Windows are you running?
That RAM is compatible with that motherboard so it should "see" the whole 4GB. Cricket

Make sure it is securely in place. Test each one individually and see.

I'll test each one but they actually light up so I know they are both connected. And I'm running Windows XP Media Center. It shows me the 2GB in the Bios and I tried playing a game and it gave me my system info and it also said 2GB.

What happens if you run 1 stick? Does it say you have 1GB or 2GB of RAM installed?

I haven't tried that yet when i get home from work that will be the first thing i try after making sure they are securely in place and then update you.
