why huge price difference?
1- CORSAIR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145184 (85$)
and 2- OCZ Platinum 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227297 ($295) For playing games like crysis and cod4 and other high performance games, what is the difference? is number 2 simply bleeding edge technology so its very pricey? If someone could explain the specifics of the differences I'd greatly appreciate it. |

The first one is ddr2, and the second one is ddr3. DDR3 is newer and faster, but it's still not worth it.
