Mother board dead
My computer won't turn on but there is a green light on the mother board so I don't think it is the power supply and that leaves me with the mother board as far as I can tell. I am looking for a good replacement for an asus a8n5x as this is a discontinued mother board. Cheap yet reliable is what I am looking for anyone got any suggestions. thanks.

What's the rest of the history/story behind the pc...
If it worked one day and quit the next, I'd suspect the PSU is failing.

What are the complete specs? Make and Model of all parts including psu.
And like EzyStvy said, just cause you see a light on the mb doesn't mean the psu is still working right.

Well about a week before, when I would try and shut it down it would shutdown almost all the way except it would just sit at a blue screen (not the BSOD). So I had to shut it off with the power supply and that lasted about a week and then nothing. I don't have complete specs but it has a amd 64 3500, 1 gig of ram, nvidia 6800 graphics card I will try to get the model of the psu tonight but that is what I have right now.
