a Short DVD Drive?
Is there such a thing as an optical drive that is shorter (as in the depth) than normal? I cant find anything on NewEgg, but I thought such a thing existed.
Any opinions on the Eggs new way of sifting and searching through products? I kinda liked the old way better, but maybe thats just because I was use to it. |

A drive has to be at least as deep as a CD. All the Lite-Ons I've bought lately have been about as shallow as physically possible.

I don't have one here right now to measure. I would have to GUESS somewhere around 6.5 inches.

I have a new Lite-On here and it measures 6.5" not including the faceplate. The total length (including the faceplate) is 6 11/16".
