Data recovery

Hello all
I have a drive that someone gave me to recover some MP3s on. This drive has been formated. I know this can be done just not sure witch program to use. I seen on an other post that Ultimate boot CD , Nice tools - Love it , but im not sure it has a full data recovery package. I love the idea of booting from CD and not needing your OS.

Also anything out there thats freeware : )

The only free data recovery packages that I know of are PC Inspector and Recuva. If the drive has been formatted, I think you may need something more powerful than those.

Try those 2 first. Then you would try the demos of GetDataBack and Ontrack Easy Recovery. The demos will tell you what it can do, you have to buy it to do the recovery.
