Pen driver
Hello Guys,
When I bought my pen drive it was working fine, I saved my files on it...few weeks later when tried to read files or retrieve my documents, it want open and keep getting an error message. basically my PC want read it at all what shall I do? thanks in advance for your help |

You've probably tried another USB port...see if it shows up in devices? I've seen a few go bad. They tend to be the key chain type that have cheap case designs. (They can get brutalized.) If the files were important, recovery programs do exist. Good luck!

How old is it?
What brand? This app is usually able to recover from flash-based memory devices, although I can't recall what the limitations were for the trial software: http://www.jufsoft.com/badcopy/

Badcopy Pro requires purchase to actually do a recovery. The trial can only tell you what it can recover.
If the drive is not recognized, nothing can recover the files. To get good help, you have to post exact error messages. |
