want to buy a good laser printer

Okay friends, I want to buy a good laser printer. I do some photo printing and a lot of text. I want to spend less than $500 and I want one that is a low cost per print. Less than or equal to 11 cents per color print and 5 cents or less per black and white. What is the best color laser printer? One that does good photo prints at the lowest cost per print? Thank you for your suggestions.

Jason, you now have your own thread in the correct forum, please don't post in sticky threads, they're not for individual questions.

Ditto on the brother listed above. I have it and love it. I cant comment on the price per sheet, but I know that you can get high capacity toners that make printing costs cheaper.

Just wait till you have to get a Brother repaired. They are throwaway printers.

Personally I recommenced Xerox printers. Fantastic print quality and there great reliable printers.

I have the 6125, but I don't think the per page costs work out cheap enough.
