smokin 2 Printers

Hi Gang[

I have 2 printers a HP 7660 and a Epson R300. Both of them print out what ever really small. They both do the same so I thought maybe it was some thing that was set up with my computer and not the printers. I have gone into the printer preferences and did not see anything that would change this small print thing.

Any help appreciated.......Thanx.....Gunny

I meant to add I have XP home and using IE7. Any other info needed to make sense of this just let me know. I have redid the drivers for both machines to see if this changed any thing, it did not. I went to the two sites and down loaded any updates there was for either of them.

Thanx....Gunny

The test pages look normal. And I do have both of them set to letter.

Thanx....Gunny

How - when and where does the small print happen?
Meaning does everything from every type of doc print small or is limited to a few "web sites?"

Oh and someday remind me to tell ya about the '76 Red Vette I had that almost put me in the poor house

EZY.....On you question about the web printing, it pretty much types small no matter where, it comes from. I can copy some thing into Notepad and it prints out ok but it seems any thing like a manual for some thing, prints out very small, not even close to what it is showing on the screen. And as I remember it use to print about the same size as on the screen all the time. Like some thing changed since my last Trojan problem. I do not print out manuals like every day so it is kinda hard to remember the very last one I did and how it came out.

I will remind you about your 76 Vette, you can count on it. This 99 is doing the same thing. Even though I am being really conservative about doing any thing with it. I am mostly trying to keep the miles down on it, and doing small add ons, that it did not come with. Just doing this is a very time consuming and expensive venture. You would think getting some thing that the car came with would be a no brainier, but I have been looking for a wiring harness for the little Factory fog lamps, for over a year now, and still no luck. Checking junk yards, and you name it. I am afraid when I do find one I will pay through the nose for it. I have the lights already and mounted them, but they don't work naturally.

Thanx...Gunny
