New build won't boot

Hi, built my PC 2 months ago and everything seems ok until this morning.....

"Reboot and Select proper Boot device
or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key_"

When to BIOS>Main, under SATA1-6 there is no hardware Detected.
Mobo can't detect my cd and hdd.

Can someone please help me out.
Here is the link to my build,
P5Q PRO/E8400 arrived!!!

Appreciate all advises.

Try to connect jjust the hard drive, and try different cables and ports. See if it's recognized in bios.

If that doesn't work, and you try the same with your dvd drive, then i would ty the hd in another computer if possible just to completely eliminate that as the problem.

After that, you might have to rma the mb.

Thank you guys.
Test out all SATA ports (1-6) with different SATA cables and the problem seems to be on the HDD.
On BIOS, it detect the optical drive but not the HDD.
My conclusion....
my HDD(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148288) is giving me the problem.
Where do i go from here?
Are all my data on my HDD gone?

I'm SCREWED!
Please help.

If the BIOS doesn't see the HDD, it's dead. You could try it in another computer but I don't think it'll be seen there either. The data is still on the HDD, just not accessible. If you really need to recover the data off that HDD I think your only option would be to take it to a data recovery service (but be prepared to pay some big bucks).

Thanks.
Just talked to Seagate and it would cost me $20 (2-3days) for a replacement.
Can't afford the recovery service but will try to use another desktop (XP) to see if i can retrive.

this may seem an elementary solution, but have u checked to be sure both the power and data cables are securely attached to ur hard drive? The same thing happened to me and it turned out the sata cable had gotten loose when i was messing around in my case.
