Bus-powered USB hub for 4 game pads
Hello all
I am about to finish building a PC to sit in my living room to play MAME/various other emulators etc and plan to have 4 control pads plugged into a hub on my coffee table. I have found a hub which would keep with the retro theme here but it is unpowered. Does anyone have any thoughts on whether the power from the bus will be enough. They are Generic control pads and don't have any power hungry rumble functions etc. Many thanks for any thoughts

As long as the total current draw of all 4 pads is less than 500ma, it should work.

I'm fairly confident they will be drawing less than 100ma each. Other than the buttons etc they have a tiny LED to indicate the Analog/turbo mode.
Thanks glc |
