greedo Worldbook Ethernet Issue

In an older post which can be found here.

After some recent storms of all the things that could fail it appears that this has. I am not getting any ethernet connection lights on the worldbook but on the router I get a connection light.

I have gone through the original troubleshooting process without success.

What should I be looking at next?

If it is failed can I pull the drives and put them into a Win Box? I am not running them in RAID configuration.

Thanks.

I have decided to take the unit apart and try to put the SATA drives into one of my machines. I have searched around it appears to be doable. The only question I have now is will I still be able to get to my data.

I have moved the drives over and they are being recognized by the XP MCE machine.

So, I will close this thread and begin a more relative one.

Thanks.
