PC locking up

I wasn't sure where to put this so feel free to move it.
I have an older build of a customers. Intel 865G MOBO using Onboard Video--2.0GB Celeron--2 X 256 PC3200 RAM--Antec 350W PSU-- XP Pro.
The Mouse cursor randomly locks up and requires a restart to continue. Sometimes, the PC fails to get past the Boot Screen on the restart. This is a very random occurrence and not connected to any particular tasks or time frame.
Mouse, Keyboard and RAM have been substituted. I did a Repair Install about 10 to 12 days ago and that seemed to have resolved the problem then it started again a couple of days ago.

Clean all the dust out and monitor the temperatures. Run ram and hard drive diagnostics.

Ram is good, the PC is dust free and the temps are good (CPU-38C). I'm going run the HDD diagnostics now.

The HDD passed 1 short test and 2 long tests.

Did you try benching it outside the case? The PSU is quality but did you try it with a different PSU?

It is out of the case. I thought of replacing the PSU because it is about 5 years old but it doesn't really show failing PSU symptoms, at least not the common ones. It's been running for over 24 hours and not so much as a frozen cursor or a failed restart.

I'd download the latest drivers for everything and see what that does. The drivers on the Intel CD are probably several versions old.

I downloaded and installed all the latest drivers for the MOBO this morning. Still no freezes or lockups so I'm not sure I fixed it.
