new drive

I need to replace my Acer Laptop (see sig) drive. Is this a good replacement? The Acer specs says only that it's an ATA drive. trulad

Yes, the Seagate Momentus notebook drives are good drives.

Thanks,that is what I will order.I don't have True Image or ghost so I guess I will have to re-install from scratch.

I "believe" you can clone the drive with the Seagate software from their website.

2 ways to clone it.
1. Seagate Disk Wizard which is an OEM version of Acronis True Image. You will need a notebook IDE to USB adapter. If you do not have an adapter: 2. 2 birds with 1 stone: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16812161002 This comes with an OEM version of True Image. |
