Lay a Sonata II on its' side?
Can an Antec Sonata II http://www.antec.com/Believe_it/product.php?id=NjYy be layed on it's side and run?
I'm looking at reconfiguring my desktop station and laying my case on it's side has crossed my mind. |

Orientation doesn't matter so long as there's airflow.

I have a Sonata II. The only issue will be that I doubt the plastic drive cover door will stay open. It is hinged on the left, so the hinges will be up once you lay it down (you'll want to lay it down with the MB down so the main cover can be opened).

Thanks for the replies.
I've decided to swap out the components in my Sonata II into a Silverstone HTPC case. I'm picking one up tonight for a sweet price and I think its' horizontal configuration will suit my space alot better. I'll probably just hang onto the Sonata II for future use. I don't think I'd get much $$$ if I were to try to sell it. |
