So I found out yesterday that my CPU fan had been unpligged for like 3 days. Thanks to the silentness of the Zalman I never noticed it gone and proceeded with my usual routine of 24/7 folding without issues. I guess I can thank the massive surface area of this heatsink for keeping the CPU in check using only the air flow in the case. Its nice to know now that if my CPU fan was to fail its not the end of the world

Ah, the beauty of massive CPU coolers. I never understood why people bought those things until I got one myself. My Cooler Master has a rediculous amount of surface area and does a much better job of cooling the CPU - about 12 degrees celsius cooler than stock. It also blows air onto other critical mobo components, and is completely silent.
