Any third party software that can format USB drive?
There are some problems with the new 16gb cruzer usb drive I bought. It cannot be fully formatted (when quick format) is not checked, and when I try to read and fix errors feature it says it cannot read the drive. If I do the quick format it might work at first until I try to put a file on it.
So I am thinking I will either go exchange the drive, or maybe there is some software that could fix it?

Are you sure it's not a counterfeit drive? Is it a U3 drive?

I would get rid of U3 and see if that makes it behave like a normal drive.
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/U...val-Tool.shtml If you actually want U3, then the drive should be returned as defective. |
