Hi Gang
I thought I seen one time there is a cable that you can use to transfer from one HD to the other. I have a good 500G SATA drive that I would like to use for other things and all I have on it is a version of a beta Win 7, plus some other program that I don't want to loose, plus I would like to keep the version of Win 7 intact. I just want to transfer it to a smaller formatted 250G SATA drive. Any and all help appreciated. Thanx...Gunny

Connect them both up inside one of your SATA-capable computers with standard cables, and boot it with a cloning program.

HI GLC
How are you long time no hear from. Ok that is what I was thinking, just wanted to make sure. Do you have any suggestions for a Cloning program.? I just got a Program called Paragon Partition, and it has a program that I think will do just what I want. It is called HD migration. Thanx and take care.....Gunny |

I use Acronis True Image or the setup software from the hard drive manufacturers.
