Hi Gang
Might be a stupid question but I am going to ask it any way. Of you that know me on here just know I will ask it any way. ![]() I had a ext HD storage unit that the electronics of the unit went bad but the HD is still good. Is there any diff between a drive that is used in one of these, and a normal HD.? It is a 500G drive so I would really like to be able to use it. Thanx....Gunny

No difference at all. Just check the jumper settings if it's IDE.
