Compatible Chipsets w/ My Motherboard...
I have a p5bw-la motherboard and wanna upgrade from a 1.86ghz intel core 2 duo chipset to something much higher. Minimum crysis requirements are 2.2ghz...is this even possible? Specs here:

Your processor will play Crysis, but you will need a strong video card and a new power supply that will fit in the case and be able to handle the video card. The 2.2 GHz requirements are for older processors.
However, with that said, trying to upgrade and beef up a HP computer for gaming, that wasn't built in the first place to be a gamer, is not cost-effective. |
