Intel core 2 quad q9400 power???

I'm planning to buy a new CPU, but I have 425 watt power supply. I also have xfx 9600 gso. Enough power for quad core? Pls say yes

Power supply:

425W Power Supply ($20): MiOS Model 400U-425PS ATX Power Supply. 24-pin ATX connection with 12V CPU plug.

CPU planning to buy:

Intel core 2 quad q9400

What motherboard are you going to use?

Short answer, nope. That power supply is not suitable for ANY system with a 9600GSO. There is no such thing as a $20 power supply built with quality components.

My guess is that GLC is politely saying your PSU is junk. Don't sell yourself short. Protect your hardware and make your system more reliable by buying a quality power supply. Using crap power supplies is a common mistake. They have the potential of causing all sorts of problems.
