need more info..... what type of connection, ISP, are you networked, etc.

You should post this it the Internet/WWW forum as there it will get more looks by people who could help more.

Are you running cable, dsl or 56k modem? What version of windows? Networking yes/no? Need more info.

http://www.speedguide.com have some tweaks you can try.
