Specs

Most versions of Windows will pull most of the information by going to START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>SYSTEM TOOLS>SYSTEM INFORMATION. Some you can get by rebooting and hitting the pause or break button during the boot up so you can read all of that DOS stuff that whizzes by.

Cool

www.belarc.com gives an excellent inventory (hardware/software) and can be printed out.

SiSoft Sandra Utilities also has some good information. It's the only way I could find out what brand my old MB was. Thing didn't have a name or anything. Turned out to be FIC

Get the standard version here...is free. Some of the modules don't work in the free version, but I think all the system information, plus several benchmark modules do work

Smile Your Welcome

Glad I could finally be of some assistance. I post my experience but most of the time I never find out if it helped or made it worse. LOL
