processor and motherboard upgrade
so I think that i want to do a small upgrade to my system and i was thinking about this for an upgrade and i was wondering if you guys had any suggestions of opinion on changes. so here are the parts that I'm thinking about getting.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103681 for the processor and http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128394 for the motherboard. I should be able to reuse the rest of the parts in my old computer, but if you have any other thought let me know. Current system MSI K9N4 motherboard Amd Athlon 64x2 3800+ 4 gigs ddr2 ram Lian Li case Plextor DVD drive 400 watt FSP Power supply 1 gig Nvivida 9600 GSO 512 1 tb WD black |

for a light upgrade as you said, those are decent choices =D.
if your looking for just a little more wow factor and a bit more power, the x3 version of that cpu is only 12 bucks more. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103843 i see no compatability problems up there. heat might become an issue, as per the reviews on that mobo.
