Quick question on Asus P6t Deluxe v2 OC
Thinking about upgrading OS to Windows 7 (Home Premium or Pro) from XP Pro.
Love this mobo but have read a few complaints on the web that it's difficult if not impossible to OC on this mobo using Windows 7. Can this be true?? If so any ideas what the issues are? Running an i7 920, not looking to do something extreme, just start out with some moderate OCing. Thanks a lot! -- S |

Do a Google search for overclocking that board under Win7 and see if others have successfully done so. I bet you come up with a number of examples of successful overclocks with that board.

Thanks David -- I have spent awhile doing so with mixed results. Seems like you can manually create an OC profile, some say they have difficulty saving the profiles, etc. I think Im going to do another build anyway with another mobo as I have a friend in need of a rig. Cheers, -- S
