A spot of housekeeping - click here for our older Computer Hardware stickies!
Hi folks,
You may have noticed a slight re-organisation of the PC Mech forums recently! The main intention was to make it much easier for users to choose the right place for their thread. A side effect of this has been that a lot of specific forums have been merged into this one, which in turn left a lot of sticky threads! So I've used my best judgment and un-stuck a few of the older threads / ones that haven't had a reply in a long while / ones that are less relevant now than they once were. I have linked them here for reference, and for those that frequently returned to one of the threads for whatever reason. This thread will be stickied for a while but if you need a specific thread below, please bookmark it. As I said above, this tidy-up was done through the use of some off-the-cuff judgment, if you think that a thread should be re-stuck please let me know (I'm thinking the guide to overclocking thread in particular here). It looks like the most useful ones are still there. Nice job cleaning things up.

Hey Freak, do you have the old Ram comparison thread still? The one listing the preferred brands?
At least I think that was all in one thread at one point? I may be thinking of the power supply one... |
Right now, we prefer Corsair, Crucial, Kingston, and A-Data.
|
Geil dropped off the list?
|
Was it ever there?
|
For DDR RAM, it was.
