EVGA 9800 GT giving me issues

I recently recieved an RMA from EVGA which replaced my old 9800 GT. I installed the new card and new drivers, but when I boot the PC up, my monitor loses it's signal after the Windows 7 loading screen goes away. When I go into safe mode, that doesnt happen. Through some troubleshooting, at one point I was able to go past the loading screen, but but I only see my wallpaper, no taskbar or icons.

How can I fix this?

Can you still move the mouse around?

I think the graphics card thinks that its hooked up to 2 monitors and it launches into the second monitor. Or its broken.

My evge geforce 6200 had the same problem.

you may want to uninstall your display drivers in safe mode and reboot
