slow internet
I just purchased a c-700 with 256ram 15 h/d 56k/v90 modem from IPC in Canada and My problem is that the internet connection and download are very slow. I have w98 os My old P120 with 72 ram and 28,800 modem was faster. What is the problem? I use I.E5.5 for a browser. When I click on one of my favorites it takes forever to dowload. I use a modem phone connection.

Go to www.pcpitstop.com Run their tests for internet connection, follow their advice, test again and post your results here after.
