I Need A HP 932c Expert
I shut my pc down and unplugged the power so I could install another stick of ram. After restart, my hp932c cartridge light keeps blinking. I tried to print a test page and the first warning was "You need to install the color cartridge"
After removing and resetting the cartridges, the second warning is "The cartridges are incompatible with your printer. Install genuine HP printer cartridges". All I did was shutdown, turn off the power and restart. What now? Carl |

power off the printer then turn it back on so that the printer resets then power down the computer then turn it back on how is it now? Sometimes it is just a matter of getting things back in sync.

Thanks for the reply. I've tried alot of combinations on shutting down and restarting, but still no go. I do have an email to HP support but don't expect an answer for a while. Before I buy a new cartridge, I may try a uninstall/reinstall. Thanks again, Carl |

That is what I would do, also be advised that these printers will not work unless all the cartridges are installed. you can not run it with a missing cartridge.

The problem is resolved. I needed new cartridges even though there wasn't any warning.
Wish HP would have a "Low Ink Option" in their software. Thanks for your help. Carl |

I have a 930C (which may just be the same printer.. different region.. different number) and the software gauge is never that accurate at all.. you'd think it wouldn't be too bad an idea to get that working right?
do you have those little smiley/sad faces when you lift the lide up that tell you when the ink is low?? i find that they're actually quite a good measure.. |

I have that same printer, HP 932C, mine tells me whenever print cartridge is low, before printing a message will pop up/optional link to click on to HP website to order new cartridge

It was a coincidence fellas. The same time I shut down to install more ram, was when the cartridges were empty. They were the original ones that came with the printer. The new ones have low-ink idicators on them.
