Question opinion on corsair artic white?

Newegg.com - CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CML8GX3M2A1600C9W

Newegg.com - CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9

Comparing these 2, what you guys think of the lower voltage and tall heatsink issue eliminated white Artic??

I know you can't go wrong with the tall vegeance one. But i hear OC prefer lower voltage RAM.

it solves the larger CPU issue and flaky heatsink design. As far as stability, I can not comment. I suppose it will be nice for the enthusiasts.

Wait for the reviews to come out.

Did you know flat black radiates and absorbs heat the best?

I was thinking in giving it a try and do a review. By the way I read it comes with lifetime warranty. But would OC void the warranty?? I know that in case it was to be void what they don't know won't hurt them.

David you lost me, but are you trying to say the way the Artic white was design would suck more heat than the tall mohawk vegeance ones??

No, just stating some basic physics about color. What will matter much more than color for radiating heat is surface area, material and air flow. I just thought it a little odd to paint something white that is supposed to radiate heat.

Like you have been advised in your other thread, get the LOW PROFILE ram.

Newegg.com - CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Profile Desktop Memory Model CML8GX3M2A1600C9
