New Microsoft Touch Mouse
Bought the new Microsoft Touch Mouse for my work laptop.
http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/7...1156305581.jpg I'll keep it simple. Pros: - The swipe actions are pretty cool. Quick to move around from window to window. Opening all windows or closing them. Locking them side by side with the left to right swipes. All really easy. - Ergonomic. Fits my hand really well and is very sleek. - Install was easy. Just plug in the wireless USB device, run windows update and get the latest intellipoint update. Cons: - The scrolling You can supposedly finger scroll anywhere on the mouse up and down and it will scroll the window. But I've noticed that there is a slight delay in the response to this. Not exactly sure if I need to tweak the settings some more, but that gets very annoying since it's something we all do a lot of. Especially when browsing. This may or may not be me just trying to get use to it. We'll see as I use it more. - Accuracy It can click where you want it to, but for designers, I would not use this mouse. It's not as accurate as I'd like it to be from other mice I've owned. Again, not sure if this is another tweaking thing or what. It works fine for the work I do, but if I were a graphics designer, it wouldn't work for me. Again, this may or may not be me just trying to get use to it. We'll see as I use it more. That's all. If I figure out the scrolling and accuracy deal through the settings, I'll post up what I did. FYI, I picked this up from Amazon when they were 60 bucks. I hear they've jumped up around 80 now? Not really sure if it's worth 80 bucks. I'd wait until it comes down around 50. That might change by the time you're reading this though.
