sound card
i bought a new sound card.My hard drive is divided into c,d,and e partitions.At first i remove the old sound card and installed new,no sound.i then install new drivers,told there was not enough space on c drive.I then removed entire creative folder and reinstalled new drive.Was told not enough space.Removed creative folder again,and reinstalled in d drive.still i do not have no output.(help)

1) Have you uninstalled the drivers from the old sound card?
--IF you did not uninstall the old drivers, there is a good chance they are conflicting with the new drivers. 2) Are you just deleting the Creative folder or are you uninstalling Creative's software/drivers? --Never good to just delete a folder. Always uninstall. -Craig |

How big is you hard drive? if you do not have enough space on the drive you are trying to install your sound card driver,try installing it on one of the other drives. I find partition drive's unless you are running a business and want to keep personal and business separate. Good point audiyoda make sure you uninstalled your old driver from your previous soundcard.
