Modem
Hi,
1) How to differentiate a 25-pin parallel connector from a 25-pin serial connector? 2) My modem connected to my pc, has no power plug. It is only on when my computer is on. But nowadays, my modem auto off mid-way while I'm surfing net (but computer still on) and the dialer hanged. It happened whenever I'm online. Why is this so? Thank you for your replies in advance

1) the COM interface on the PC has pins, the LPT has holes. RJ
