Video Card Question

Quick question:

I am looking to add a video card to a computer that was built a few years back. the video card screwed up awhile back and i haven't touched the computer since. looking into getting one now.

i was wondering if this card will work with my mobo Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GV-R667D3-1GI Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

i can't give the exact name of the old video card as i dont remember, but i did find an old post of mine around the time the card messed up trying to find a solution. it was a radeon 3800 series card. when i went to check that out i found that series of cards runs on PCI express 2.0

will the video card i posted work with my mobo then? also i dont know the model of my mobo either, which is a pain i know, otherwise i would just google it. but i'm dumb and dont have the box anymore.

If the old one is a PCI express, that card will work.
