Looking to Upgrades SSD and RAM on my new Laptop
Trying to take advantage of the November online deals, from what I kind of remember from last year is that cyber Monday deals are not that good. I am not sure if my laptop supports Sata 3 I think it does.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834246623 This is the laptop I bought I liked it a lot but want to upgrade to the max the RAM and a better SSD the rest can stay. I have about 500GB of HDD so thats good enough for now. For RAM personally I love Corsair they have never let me down when it comes to RAM or PSU. So for $36 free shipping I can get this with coupon code http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820233242 For SSD I am looking for a good fast best bang for my dollar budget :$200 This one is a maybe http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820233208 $195 after Mail in Rebate 3 years warranty or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820233312 This one is $15 over my budget after mail in rebate but I like the 5 years warranty! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820233343 This one is $9 over budget 3 years warranty but a bit more space http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820148530 I looked at intel SSD but I am not sure if they would fit my laptop is not bulky so some of the SSD chosen above may have the same issue except for 2 that are 7mm thick. So far I feel like the pulling the plug on the Corsair GTX for $215 5 years warranty.

Corsair makes great memory however when it comes to SSD drives, Intel is first choice, then Kingston and Crucial.
I cannot recommend any other brand and I think you will find glc will only recommend Intel due to their excellent reliability.

I'd get this ram:
http://www.crucial.com/store/mpartsp...ACCBB6A5CA7304 You can put a standard 9.5mm thick SSD in that laptop. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820167128 |
