That laptop was manufactured in 2005. I wouldn't pay more than $25-$50 for a laptop that old.

If it still has the original hard drive, plan on about $100 to replace it when it goes. Hard drives that start getting more than 5 years old tend to have a higher chance of failing just due to age and the components wearing out.

The antivirus solution isn't really a selling point--there are plenty of free solutions available.

The only used laptops I'd pay $200 for would be business-grade machines built to be road warriors - such as Lenovo Thinkpads. Even then, one that old is not worth it.

That HP is an old, heavy, clunky desktop replacement that runs hot and battery life is terrible.

Wait for Black Friday - I'd bet that you can get something current for $200.

EDIT: That laptop would not be suitable for doing what you say you want to do in your other thread, and neither would a current cheap laptop. The gaming you want to do is what's going to rule them out.

The NX9xxx series are notorious for LCD problems, not recommended.
