Connecting Processor to LCD TV
I have a Dell Dimension 1100 desktop computer and a Panasonic Viera TV (Model TX-32lXD69A), which is LCD.
I want to connect the processor to the TV, so that I can watch movies and TV programmes streamed through my computer on my TV screen. Could I do this by using a HDMI cable to HDB15? See link below for details of cable. HDMI/m TO HDB15/m, DVI/m TO DVI/m & HDB15/m TO HDB15/m HD high speed cable | eBay |

Do you mean you want to connect the PC to the TV? It is not possible to connect a processor to a TV.

No, it doesn't look like that's what the cable is for. I looked up the manual for your TV, and HDMI is the only viable option, it doesn't have a VGA input. Also, your computer only has legacy PCI expansion slots.
Your best bet is install a legacy PCI video card that has HDMI. However, that's a pretty old computer and I have my doubts whether it can successfully stream video.
