Wink !!!!BIG!!!! Thanks

Just a quick message to say thanks to all the folks in this forum who, through there vast knowledge, have assisted me in building my first computer. Everything went surprisingly easy, except for a few minor (HDD LED on the wrong way etc.) problems. Just one thing though, I have a cable from my system case(for the case speaker) that I have absolutely no idea where it goes on the board. I decided it was not needed as the board has a speaker. so I left it. So once again a BIG thanks to glc, HAL9000, DrZaius, mc2phat and a dozen others that I shamefully can't remember.

Hi WNeill,

Congrats on completing your first build. Started thinking about your next one yet?

The wires from the speaker would normally be connected to the front panel header where the rest of the wires are attached (power, reset, LED's). But since your motherboard has an onboard speaker, you won't have to worry about it. I've seen motherboards similar to yours where there is no header for the speaker.

Good job,
You also picked a very good board for a first build.
