HP psu

So my mother-in-law has an hp Pavilion a6403 (KJ387AA) computer, she called the other day and said it smells like burning wire coming from the computer. I had her turn it off and my brother-in-law looked at it for her, he told me the smell is coming from the PSU and that he is pretty sure its about to go. So I need to replace the little liteon ps-5251-08 250w psu. I have found 2 replacements but have never used an Antec Basiq, is the antec alright or should she spend the extra $10 and get the seasonic. I know what I would do but she is a tightwad.

Newegg.com - Antec Basiq BP350 350W ATX12V v2.01 Power Supply
Newegg.com - SeaSonic SS-300ET Bronze 300W ATX12V V2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply - Power Supplies

The Basiq is fine if it will fit in the case. It's made by FSP.

I am assuming it will fit, when I looked up the psu it said its dimensions were 3.3" x 5.8" x 5.5" which are atx dimensions.
