Power Supply

Is this power supply any good. I'm on a phone but search this on new egg. it's modular
thermaltake black widow W0319RU 850W

Is that a good psu in any build. and is it better of worse compared to a coarser TX enthusiast series that's non modular?

the reason I ask is I want to switch to a modular since I'm a beginner.

corsair*

Which graphics card(s) are you using? You never need more than 750 watts for a single GPU core (my opinion) and usually only need 650 watts for a mid to high level gaming card.

Modular or not more relates to keeping the inside of your case tidy and not really your experience level.

In this forum Corsair HX, AX and Seasonic are considered the best. So considering how important the PSU is and considering the prices between marginal quality and excellent quality are not all that different then you might as well go with the best.

That is not a horrible semi modular PSU. I prefer this one over it at the end of the day

Think I might go non modular that way I get a highly recommended corsair and at the same time having reassurance that it will be a good buy.
